The Priego de Córdoba City Council has released the regulatory bases for two selection processes aimed at reinforcing the structure of the municipal company EGITUR. The calls seek to fill the position of company manager and establish an employment pool, in addition to a Tourism Attention Assistant role.
The manager position will be responsible for the executive management of EGITUR, coordinating staff, overseeing economic management, and driving strategic projects related to the municipality's tourism promotion. Selection will be by open designation, adhering to principles of merit, capacity, and suitability. Applicants must hold a university degree and submit a management project for the 2026-2028 period, which they will defend during a personal interview. The projected annual remuneration for this role is 48,000 euros.
The call for a tourism attention assistant will allow for filling one position and creating an employment pool with a validity of three years to meet future temporary needs. Functions will include visitor assistance, monument management, tourism promotion, statistical compilation, and the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence applied to the sector. The annual salary set for this position amounts to 30,000 euros.
To participate in the tourism attention assistant selection process, candidates must possess, at a minimum, a Vocational Training qualification related to tourism and demonstrate a minimum B1 level of English. The selection process will combine a merits-based assessment phase, a theoretical test on the historical, monumental, and natural heritage of Priego de Córdoba, and a personal interview.
The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days from the publication of the calls on the notice board and the electronic headquarters of the City Council.
