The celebrations will commence on September 4th with the lighting of the artistic illumination, the opening of the Brotherhood's bar, and performances by Sputnik 54 and DJ Jesús Benítez in the Plaza de España.
September 5th will be a day of high participation with the traditional Toro de Cuerda (Rope Bull), organized by the Toro de Cuerda Association of Carcabuey. This day's program includes two releases, a children's party, the tasting of the traditional 'Plato Campero' (Country Dish), and in the evening, performances by La Mona Chita Rock and DJ Jesús Benítez.
On September 6th, the traditional Sardine and Prawn Feast will be held in the Plaza de España. The evening of September 7th will be marked by the felicitation to the Patron Saint at the Parish of La Asunción and a performance by the group Annya.
The peak of the festivities will arrive on September 8th, the feast day of María Santísima del Castillo. The day will include the Rosary of the Aurora, the Floreada Diana (Floral Parade), the Solemn Religious Service, the Popular Paella enlivened by the group Cenacheros, and the solemn procession of the Patron Saint through the streets of Carcabuey, accompanied by the Municipal Music Band «Maestro Zafra».
Following the main events, the celebrations will continue with the Novena in honor of María Santísima del Castillo, the Besamanos (Kissing of the Hand), and the transfer of the image to the church of San Marcos. On September 27th, the processional return of the Patron Saint to her hermitage will mark the grand finale of celebrations deeply rooted in the identity of Carcabuey.
