The closing party, held at the El Carmen public school, marked the end of an edition that covered a total of 4,067 spots during July and August. The municipal program received 882 applications, representing a 12% increase compared to the previous year. July was the busiest month, with 3,196 spots filled, followed by August with 871.
The Councilor for Social Services, Irene Aguilera, described the edition's assessment as “very positive,” emphasizing that “many children were able to enjoy themselves and many families had a resource that allowed them to balance work and family during the holidays.” The service involved 35 monitors and four coordinators, in addition to maintaining extended hours for 89 families.

The councilor also highlighted the collaboration of various municipal departments, entities, and the management teams of the educational centers that provided their facilities: El Prado, El Carmen, El Valle, San José de Calasanz, El Genil, and IES Miguel de Cervantes. Special thanks were given to the staff of the delegation, coordinators, monitors, operational services, and school caretakers.
The Department of Social Services is already working on preparing the winter play centers. An anonymous survey has been sent to participating families to gather feedback and suggestions for improvement.
