The operation, starting Tuesday, September 8, will include daily presence of Local Police officers at the fairgrounds, with reinforcements on peak attendance days. The National Police will also deploy an integral unit, including a sub-group from the Provincial Police Station of Córdoba's Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR) during the busiest nights. The National Police's Cavalry Unit will also be present during the fair's afternoons.
The Civil Guard will collaborate with security and alcohol breathalyzer checkpoints within the municipality and access roads. Specific measures will be implemented for crime prevention, with uniformed and plainclothes police surveillance to prevent robberies at homes, businesses, and industrial estates. Administrative inspections will be conducted at the fairgrounds to ensure compliance with regulations.
As a new feature, the Local Police will incorporate its Aerial Support Police Unit for drone flights at specific times and designated areas to aid officers on the ground, particularly in crowd control and prevention. The operation will also include daily medical services with an ambulance, participation from Civil Protection, and a Firefighter unit at the fairgrounds. The municipal booth will have permanent private security.
Civil Protection will distribute identification bracelets for children at the designated security and emergency point to facilitate their location if lost.
