This technical stop, carried out periodically, will allow intervention in different areas and elements of the facility to keep it in optimal condition. The works, with an investment exceeding 30,000 euros, will include masonry, metal and wood carpentry, plumbing, climate control, and painting.
Among the most notable actions is the replacement and repair of coverings, such as tiles and floor tiles, in the main pool tank as well as in the changing rooms and deck areas. The pool decks will also be grouted, and various interventions will be carried out on the compensation tanks.
Additionally, the diving boards in the swimming lanes and some doors will be repaired, along with reinforcement work on an internal metal beam. In the boiler room, part of the hot water piping system and recirculation pumps will be renewed, and the old pellet storage silo will be dismantled after the previous boiler was replaced with a gas one.
The technical stop will also facilitate the painting of interior walls and the mechanical cleaning of sumps, among other smaller-scale actions necessary for the general maintenance of the facility, thus concentrating tasks that cannot be performed while the pool is in operation.
