This edition's poster, titled ‘Entrada triunfal’ (Triumphant Entry), is the work of Antonio Espejo Arroyo, a native of Cabra residing in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. It was selected from 15 entries submitted to the competition organized by the City Council. As explained by Rosi Lama, head of the Fair and Festivals Area, the artwork «captures the transmission of faith and customs between generations, placing María Santísima de la Sierra at the center». The submitted works will be exhibited at the City Council during the fair.
The festive program, declared of National Tourist Interest, has been designed to be «varied and carefully curated, intended for all audiences with special attention to inclusion, safety, and respect for our traditions», stated Lama. Following «pre-fair» activities, the official events will begin on September 3rd with the opening speech by Antonio Jesús Fernández, presented by Manuel Moreno, alongside the proclamation of the Queen and King of the Festivals, Sara Montes and Dylan Castillo, and their Court of Honor. That evening, the special lighting will be inaugurated, and the fairgrounds will open, featuring eight private marquees, the Municipal Marquee, the Youth Marquee, and the Children's Marquee. The ‘Children's Day’ will offer popular prices on attractions, and a daily music-free hour (8:30 PM - 9:30 PM) will be established for individuals sensitive to noise.
On September 4th, the traditional triumphant entry of María Santísima de la Sierra will take place, departing from her Sanctuary at 4:00 PM. The procession will be accompanied by floats, brotherhoods, associations, horsemen, and devotees. Children's activities, such as performances by Frasky e Inma and the Children's Corner, will run from September 4th to 8th.
A notable novelty is the relocation of the Midday Fair to the Plaza de España, from September 5th to 8th (2:30 PM - 7:30 PM). «We want the streets of Cabra to become the best stage for gastronomy, music, and joy, with a more open and family-friendly format», explained Lama. Participating establishments will offer their gastronomic specialties, and live music will feature groups like ‘Los Cuatro Caños’, Carolina Garrido, ‘A mi manera’, and ‘Las Cajoneras’.
The evening program will include orchestras such as ‘Arrayán’ and ‘Cacique’, a tribute concert to Estopa, a performance by ‘Decai’, and DJ sets. The Horse Parade will return on September 5th, 6th, and 7th with a new route. On September 5th, the traditional Battle of Flowers will also take place, followed by the awards ceremony for the Float Competition.
The program is complemented by cultural, youth, and sports activities: theatricalized visits to the exterior of the Castle and the Mausoleum of the Viscountess of Termens, a poetry evening, a classic vehicle gathering, the Jurassic and Water Route, activities related to local products, a mixed bullfight, chess, petanque, and football competitions, and the II Adventure Gymkhana. Events dedicated to the Absent Egabrense and Women's Day will be held at the ‘Antonio Espinar Arcos’ Municipal Cinestudio.
The central focus of the festivals will once again be devotion to the Patron Saint, culminating on September 8th with her solemn glorious procession through the streets of Cabra. As she passes the City Hall, the traditional Salve will be sung by David Sánchez and Lucía Sánchez García, father and daughter, and an extraordinary fireworks display will conclude the Real Feria y Fiestas 2026.
A free special Fair bus service will be available on September 4th, 7th, and 8th. The designated area for public drinking ('botellón') will be in the parking lot of the ADIE Center until 3:00 AM, and the Violet Point will be operational from September 4th to 7th at the Fairgrounds.
