The initiative aims to foster more sustainable, healthy, and environmentally friendly mobility habits. The program will take place on September 20 and 22.
On Sunday, September 20, a new edition of Bike Day will be held. Registrations will open at 10:00 AM in Plaza de España, with the ride starting at 11:00 AM. This event aims to promote cycling as a means of transport and healthy leisure, encouraging coexistence and safe use of public space.
The program will conclude on Tuesday, September 22, coinciding with World Car-Free Day. On this day, the urban bus service will be free all day, encouraging the use of public transport as an alternative to private vehicles.
The Department of Environment and Sustainable Mobility reminds citizens that opting for collective transport, cycling, or walking contributes to reducing polluting emissions and noise, improving air quality, and fostering a safer and more livable urban environment.
Through these activities, the Cabra City Council renews its commitment to a European initiative that promotes more rational and sustainable mobility, involving citizens in building a healthier and more environmentally friendly city.
