The works will be carried out over a 16-kilometer stretch, between kilometer 790 (junction with the A-66 in Guillena) and kilometer 806 (junction with the A-66 in Santiponce).
The actions include preventive surface rehabilitation with a new 6 cm thick wearing course between kilometers 794.5 and 796.6. Rehabilitation will also be carried out in specific areas with milling, replacement of the wearing course, and the placement of a geogrid reinforcement between kilometers 800.4 and 805.1.
Additionally, the active ground layer (approximately 3 meters) will be replaced, and the pavement structure will be reconstructed using gravel and bituminous mix between kilometers 794.6 and 795.9.
The works also involve the replacement of road markings and affected safety and guidance elements. Furthermore, the superelevation of the curve section located between kilometers 795.8 and 796 will be improved to enhance road safety.
This action is part of the conservation and maintenance program for the State Road Network, which has seen an investment of 222.7 million euros in the province of Seville since June 2018.
