The Cabra City Council has opened the tender process for the design and construction of a building with six public homes for social rental at number 2, Calle Junquillo. Interested companies can submit their bids until next November 9, at 11:59 PM, exclusively through the Public Sector Contracting Platform.
This initiative marks the first social housing development directly promoted by the Egabrense Consistory, using municipal resources. The base tender budget amounts to 1,026,068.50 euros, including taxes. The tender documents include co-financing of 31.81% through European Next Generation EU funds, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
The contract covers both the technical work required to develop the project and the subsequent execution of the works. It includes the drafting of the basic and execution project, the safety and health study, the telecommunications project, the garage activity project, and the building's manual, along with safety and health coordination during project development.
The energy-efficient building will feature a total of six homes designated for social rental under a special protection regime, as well as six parking spaces linked to each apartment. Through this initiative, the City Council aims to expand the municipality's public housing supply.
The total estimated period for the contract is twelve months, divided into two months for project design and ten months for construction. The construction period will commence from the date of the start-up act, in accordance with the conditions set out in the tender documents.
The award will be processed through an open procedure with multiple evaluation criteria. Companies can consult the announcement and tender documents on the Cabra City Council's Contractor Profile, hosted on the Public Contracting Platform and accessible from the municipal website.
