The program includes a global investment of 1,156,397.56 euros distributed across 23 projects in the urban center and its villages. During the visit, Aguilera and Flores assessed the execution status of interventions aimed at modernizing infrastructure, recovering public spaces, and improving services in the villages, addressing resident needs and promoting rural employment.
In Fuente Álamo, work focuses on conditioning the square on La Torre street, including pavement renewal and new railings. In Venta de Agramaderos, completed works at the Social Center and sports court have added new restrooms and improved connectivity between facilities.
In Villalobos, the public lighting system on Carretera street is being renewed with underground infrastructure. In Ermita Nueva, the well and washbasin on Pilillas street are being rehabilitated with new limestone cladding and improved access.
In Santa Ana, the urbanization of Comendador street is complete, and Perchel street will be finished, with renewed sanitation and public lighting. In Ribera Alta, public fountain and washbasin are being conserved, with minor improvements to the village access shelter.
These projects, funded by the SEPE, the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Provincial Council of Jaén, and the Alcalá la Real City Council, contribute to modernizing infrastructure and reinforcing public services for balanced municipal development.
