The Neighborhood Association of the Pilar Neighborhood, with the collaboration of the Guillena City Council, has announced the dates for the Gergal Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Pilar. The main celebration will take place on Sunday, October 11th.
This year, the Pilar Neighborhood Association has decided not to organize the evening event on the weekend prior to the pilgrimage. However, a gathering day will be held on Saturday, October 10th, in the 1º de Mayo square. Activities will begin at seven in the evening and will include children's entertainment by Ludokids, as well as musical performances by Media Luna, Palodú, and dj Jesús González.
The Gergal Pilgrimage will commence on Sunday, October 11th, at ten in the morning. The departure will be from the fairgrounds, passing through the parish church of Ntra Sra de la Granada and the Chapel of Hope, before heading to El Gergal park, where the pilgrimage celebration will take place.
