This excursion will allow participants to explore a gem of Extremaduran modernism, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, noted for its beauty and uniqueness. The visit will also include the parish church, the hermitage of San Lorenzo, and the Municipal Museum ‘Manuel Santiago Morato’.
The ‘Guillena de Ruta 2026’ program offers eleven cultural and hiking routes, as well as visits to emblematic sites in Andalusia and Extremadura. The calendar began on April 17 with a visit to Seville to explore the Generation of '27, followed by an excursion to the Fine Arts Museums on April 28. The route to Cádiz took place on June 7, and a hiking route through the Sierra de Huelva was held on May 23. The fifth excursion was to Rio Tinto.
Registration for the route to ‘Capricho de Cotrina’ opens on Tuesday, September 15, at 9 a.m. To participate, attendees must be over 18 years old and registered residents of the municipality of Guillena. There are 50 available places.
The bus will depart at 7:45 a.m. from Torre de la Reina, at 8:00 a.m. from Guillena, and at 8:15 a.m. from Las Pajanosas. The return is scheduled for approximately 4:00 p.m. Participants are responsible for their own breakfast and lunch expenses.
The route program will conclude on October 30. Upcoming activities include a cultural visit to the Palacio de las Dueñas in Seville (September 30), a trip to El Coto de las Canteras in Osuna (October 17), a hiking route to the Bosque de Cobre in Huelva (October 24), and a theatrical cultural visit to the Cemetery of Seville (October 30).
