The measure aims to be consistent with the municipality's current situation and thanks citizens for their understanding regarding the cancellation of a significant event on the local calendar.
The suspension affects the entire program of the Villa Fair, which was set to take place over four days.
According to the latest data from the Advanced Command Post, 286 people have been affected by evacuations in El Madroño and its four hamlets: El Álamo, Juan Antón, Juan Gallego, and Villargordo. Of these, approximately 180 are from the main town and 106 from the villages. Only 26 individuals required accommodation at the center prepared in El Castillo de las Guardas.
The municipality remains evacuated, and the City Council has chosen to postpone the celebrations to focus its efforts on assisting the population and monitoring the emergency until normal conditions can be restored.
