Álvaro Patón, born in Linares on March 18, 1999, will be in charge of kicking off the city's festivities on August 27th, delivering the opening speech from the balcony of the Municipal Palace. The young man forged his connection with the city during his studies at Colegio La Presentación.
After graduating in Primary Education from the University of Granada, specializing in English and completing training in educational robotics, Patón began his teaching career in Tenerife. Despite the distance, he has always maintained a strong link with Linares, participating in local initiatives such as a scavenger hunt that gathered over 3,000 people and creating audiovisual content to promote the city's heritage and traditions.
He currently resides in Madrid, where he works in communication and social media. With over two million followers across his digital platforms, he collaborates with various entities on sports, education, and outreach projects. His work aims to inspire, educate, and generate a positive impact, always carrying the name of Linares forward.
