The streets of Bailén are now buzzing with the Commemorative Festivals of the CCXVIII Anniversary of the Battle of Bailén. The opening speech delivered by Commander Juan Jesús Rodríguez Lahore marked the official start of these celebrations, which pay homage to the city's history and its protagonists.
The inaugural event included the traditional chupinazo (firecracker launch), the performance of the anthem of Bailén, and the presentation of the city's shield to the speaker, adding emotion to the start of the festivities.
The night continued with the inauguration of the festive lighting in the Paseo de las Palmeras. Subsequently, attendees enjoyed the fireworks display 'Magic and Dreams', ushering in a festive atmosphere that soon filled the fairgrounds.
This opening day allowed residents and visitors to enjoy the start of one of the most anticipated celebrations in Bailén's calendar.
