The accident took place shortly before 10:50 PM on the aforementioned highway, heading towards Córdoba. Several calls to the 112 emergency number alerted authorities to the collision between a motorcycle, a car, and a truck, indicating that the motorcyclist had been injured.
Upon receiving the alert, Traffic Civil Guard, the 061 Sanitary Emergency Center, Local Police, and Road Maintenance personnel were immediately dispatched. Despite the efforts of the medical team at the scene, they were unable to save the motorcyclist's life.

This incident adds to other events recorded on the same highway, such as the one that occurred on June 2nd in Villanueva de la Reina, where a person died when a truck overturned. In that accident, a complex rescue operation by firefighters was also required.
