The Andalusian Environment and Water Agency (AMAYA) has finalized the service concession for a nine-year term. The management has been awarded to a company specializing in tourism services, which will oversee the facilities, including the cafeteria, shop, and nature tourism activities.
Renovation efforts have focused on energy efficiency and sustainability. Key improvements include a complete roof repair, the installation of 60 solar panels, and the maintenance of a pellet boiler for heating. Additionally, an electric vehicle charging point has been installed, and upgrades to the Hunting Museum and interpretation area are underway.
The new schedule features twelve free environmental education activities, such as interpretive hiking and workshops. The center will also promote local products and offer guided tours in restricted areas, maintaining its status as a key tourist destination after welcoming 45,000 visitors in 2024.
