The total investment is broken down into 695,209.50 euros for actions on municipal infrastructure, equipment, and spaces; 155,399.78 euros for the recovery of rural roads; and 2,110,013.51 euros in direct aid to the agricultural sector.
Sub-delegate Fernández highlighted the Government's comprehensive response, which has addressed public services, rural communications, and agricultural holdings, all essential areas for restoring normality and maintaining the municipality's economic activity.
Municipal interventions, 100% financed by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, include repairs to public roads, sports facilities, water tanks, educational centers, and other spaces affected by the floods on January 27. Notable actions include those on Polideportivo street (130,000 euros), the Sports Pavilion (95,000 euros), and Andalucía Avenue (85,000 euros).
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has made two payments to the agricultural sector, totaling 2,110,013.51 euros for 269 affected holdings, thus supporting the continuity of an activity fundamental to the economy and employment.
The recovery of 13 rural roads damaged by rain and floods will receive 155,399.78 euros. Actions include repairing material washouts, gullies, sinkholes, and collapses. The Jabonera road is among those receiving the largest investment.
These investments are part of a package of over 400 million euros from the Spanish Government for the reconstruction and improvement of infrastructure damaged by storms in 94 municipalities in the province of Jaén.
