The town of Cazorla is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors for the thirtieth edition of the BluesCazorla festival, taking place from July 2nd to 4th. Occupancy in hotels, apartments, and rural accommodations is already nearing 100% for these dates.
This event, considered one of Europe's leading blues festivals, has established itself as a significant economic driver for the municipality. The City Council has highlighted that the combination of quality music, heritage, gastronomy, and natural surroundings makes Cazorla a unique destination.
The festival is part of the 'Jaén en Julio' initiative, promoted by the Provincial Council, which includes five festivals across the province to attract tourism during the summer. As a prelude, the municipality hosted the VIII BluesCazorla Blues Battle, a contest for emerging bands, in April.
The festival will feature performances by artists such as Carolyn Wonderland, Mike Zito, Walter Trout, Sugaray Rayford, Charlie Musselwhite, and Eric Johnson, among others, spread across three days.
