This edition of the fair, which will run until Wednesday, May 6, returns to its original location with the aim of enhancing the visibility of Vocational Training offerings in Jerez and the rest of the province. The initiative, launched in 2019, is the result of collaboration between public and private school teachers.
The 38 participating centers, both subsidized and public, will provide detailed information on basic, intermediate, and higher-level training cycles, as well as specialization courses and their employment opportunities. The inaugural day will feature a round table to discuss the challenges and prospects of VT, with representatives from the Territorial Delegation of Education, a high school principal, and members of companies such as Navantia and the Jerez Chamber of Commerce.
One of the main novelties this year is the significant presence of institutes from various towns in the province. In addition to centers from Jerez, the fair will host 14 institutes from municipalities such as Trebujena, Arcos de la Frontera, Cádiz, El Puerto de Santa María, San Fernando, Villamartín, Algeciras, Sanlúcar, Alcalá del Valle, Ubrique, Chiclana, Alcalá de los Gazules, Medina Sidonia, Puerto Real, and Olvera.
The participating centers have prepared various interactive activities to showcase the wide range of professional families covered by Vocational Training. Attendees can explore cycles related to hospitality and tourism, food industries, sociocultural and community services, electricity and electronics, energy and water, IT and communications, installation and maintenance, healthcare, commerce and marketing, and physical sports activities.
The fair's schedule for Tuesday is from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, the event will be open only from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
