The Olvera council has opened a public tender for the allocation of 10 spaces in the central market, aiming to stimulate new commercial proposals, boost the local economy, and maintain the vitality of the historic center. This initiative presents an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to launch their businesses in a prime location within the town, recognized as the Rural Tourism Capital in 2021.
The stalls are being offered at accessible prices, with monthly rents around 40 euros, thereby facilitating access to self-employment and the development of small commercial projects. The deadline for submitting offers is from May 15th to June 1st, and applications must be submitted through the State Contracting Platform.
To showcase the facilities and the project to potential interested parties, the City Council will host Open House Days at the Market on Wednesday, May 20th, and Friday, May 22nd. The opening hours will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing attendees to visit the available spaces, learn firsthand about the commercial environment, and resolve any doubts regarding the tender process and entrepreneurial opportunities.
This measure is part of the municipal strategy to revitalize the urban area, generate economic activity, and create new employment and business opportunities. The City Council encourages all individuals with business ideas to take advantage of this call.
