Speaking from Paterna de Rivera, Sanz asserted that the White Tides protests, which took place on Sunday, are part of an "electoral campaign" orchestrated by left-wing parties. According to the minister, these actions aim to "discredit" public healthcare and "permanently attack healthcare professionals," as well as the Andalusian Government led by Juanma Moreno.
“"It seems to me that it is part of the electoral campaign and, therefore, it is an electoral campaign mobilization."
The popular leader insisted that Montero's "credibility" in healthcare matters is "zero," especially considering her past as Minister of Health in previous socialist governments. Sanz accused Montero of having caused "serious damage" to the healthcare system during her tenure, including budget cuts of 1.590 million euros between 2010 and 2018, and a reduction of 7,773 healthcare professionals.
“"Montero's credibility regarding healthcare in Andalusia is zero, but, above all, healthcare professionals know her very well."
Furthermore, Sanz criticized Montero's proposals to reduce waiting lists, suggesting that her record includes having "shelved more than 500,000 Andalusians who disappeared from waiting lists." He called it "mocking" that Montero would propose solutions for a problem for which, he claims, she was responsible. The minister defended the current administration's management, highlighting an investment of 16.200 million euros in healthcare and the creation of 10,500 positions in the public employment offer.
