Following Diego Galiano's arrival at Xerez CD's bench last season, four players landed at the club from Atlético Antoniano: Guille Campos, Chacartegui, Javi Rodríguez, and Jaime López. While the first two have already renewed and the club has decided not to count on Javi Rodríguez, the Sevillian attacking midfielder could be the next to agree to continue.
Despite suffering two significant injuries last campaign, including a calf tear and meniscus surgery, Jaime López has shown great performance and commitment. The club is very satisfied with his attitude and the effort made to participate in the final matches of the competition.
The player, born in Sevilla on January 18, 2000, played 23 matches, 16 as a starter, accumulating over 1,400 minutes and scoring two goals. His contribution was key in important moments, such as the draw achieved against Almería B.
Jaime López established himself at Atlético Antoniano in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, after developing in the youth ranks of Sevilla FC. Previously, he had a notable performance with Atlético Sanluqueño, achieving promotion to Primera RFEF in the 2022/23 season.
In parallel, Xerez CD is negotiating the renewals of center-back Moi and forward Chuma, who are also important players for the team.
Meanwhile, UCAM has announced the signing of former Xerez player Charaf Taoualy Sougdali (Sevilla, 1999), who will reunite with José Carlos Checa and other former teammates. The Murcian club highlights his technical quality and his ability to generate offensive play.
