The 'Veranillos del Alamillo' (Alamillo Summer Events) are returning to Seville's Alamillo Park starting next July 6, 2026, offering a diverse schedule of free cultural activities for all audiences. This year, the initiative, aimed at enhancing the summer experience in the city, will concentrate all its events in the courtyard of the Cortijo del Alamillo for greater accessibility.
This edition's novelties focus on interactivity and inclusion, with many activities designed for audience participation and accompanied by sign language interpreters. The launch event on July 6 will be a Candlelight concert, an unprecedented proposal that will transform the courtyard into an intimate atmosphere illuminated by hundreds of candles, featuring an instrumental tribute to legendary bands like The Beatles, ABBA, and Queen.
The weekly program will be thematically distributed: Mondays will be dedicated to nocturnal adventure with treasure hunts and mysteries under the stars, requiring prior reservation. Tuesdays will feature musical bingo hosted by Arturo de Alanís, while Wednesdays will present illusionism shows by magicians such as Alexku and Alexis Melgar.
Thursdays will be reserved for flamenco, with performances by young talents from the Cristina Heeren Foundation and other featured artists. Fridays will showcase major family box office hits during the summer cinema screenings. Saturdays will include Interactive Cinema (Sing-Alone) nights, where the audience will sing and dance along, alongside Spanish song performances.
Sunday afternoons will offer a refreshing cool-down with children's water activities such as kayaking at the Alamillo Nautical Center and paddle surfing at the San Jerónimo Rowing Club, with sessions at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, both requiring advance booking.
Last year, this free summer offering attracted nearly 14,000 people, solidifying the park as a key destination for free summer leisure in the province. This year's program aims to delight Sevillians during the hot summer evenings with renewed content and spaces.
