A total of 213 professionals, comprising 156 women and 57 men, were honored by the Virgen de las Nieves Hospital in Granada after concluding their working careers in 2025. The recognition event took place at the Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses.
The ceremony was inaugurated by the Delegate for Health and Consumption, Indalecio Sánchez-Montesinos, alongside the hospital's General Manager, María Ángeles García Rescalvo. Both expressed their gratitude for the commitment, dedication, excellence, and patient care demonstrated by the honorees.
During the event, the significant contributions of these professionals across medical, nursing, management, and service areas within the hospital were highlighted.

Retired professionals Jesús Rufino, José Luis Vílchez, Juan Martínez, Ana Gallego, and Juan Carlos Herrero shared their experiences at the hospital, moving the attendees with their testimonies.
As part of the tribute, each of the 213 professionals received a diploma, a paperweight featuring the institution's logo, and a flower. The event concluded with a performance by the Choir of Professionals from the Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital, who sang the anthem ‘Más que un hospital’, composed by El Hombre Garabato.
