An electrical transformer caught fire in Seville's Rioja street, near the Santo Ángel church, alarming residents and passersby with a dense smoke plume, though no injuries were reported.

The incident, identified by Emergencias Sevilla as an electrical fire, led to the cordoning off of the area. Despite the dramatic smoke, authorities confirmed no one was affected, although the scene drew significant attention from those passing through this central city street.
This event marks the third fire in central Seville in just over eight days. The first occurred on Palm Sunday, when a bar kitchen on Cuna street caught fire at midday. This blaze, originating from a fryer, forced a change in the route of the Borriquita procession towards the Official Route. One person received treatment for smoke inhalation, though their condition was not serious.
Just twenty-four hours later, on Holy Monday afternoon, another fire broke out on the rooftop of number 7 on Pajaritos street. In this instance, the flames were caused by burning aromatic plants and their protective plastic, with no injuries reported.
