A renowned travel magazine has published a list of the ten most beautiful towns in the province of Sevilla, highlighting their heritage, gastronomy, and unique landscapes for an essential visit.

The publication Viajar, self-proclaimed as the first Spanish magazine dedicated to travel, recently shared on its social media a ranking of what it considers the ten most attractive municipalities in the province of Sevilla. This selection aims to highlight places that, due to their architecture, history, or natural environment, are worth exploring.
Among the featured towns is El Real de la Jara, a mountain village in Sierra Morena known for its castle, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, and its role as a stop for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. Its gastronomy, with Iberian products and artisanal pastries, is another of its attractions.
Osuna, in the Andalusian countryside, impresses with its historical complex, dominated by the Colegiata and the old University. Its streets house palaces and convents, and it has been the setting for international productions. Meanwhile, La Puebla del Río, on the banks of the Guadalquivir and near Doñana, offers landscapes of rice fields and exceptional biodiversity, ideal for ecotourism and birdwatching.
Utrera, south of the capital, is recognized as the birthplace of flamenco and boasts valuable artistic heritage, including the church of Santa María de la Mesa. Cazalla de la Sierra, in the Sierra Norte Natural Park, is a benchmark for rural tourism, famous for its aniseed liqueurs and brandies. Marchena, with its medieval legacy and flamenco tradition, stands out for its Andalusian gastronomy and the Marchenero mollete bread.
Carmona, with its strategic location and views of the Guadalquivir valley, is a monumental enclave with walls, alcazars, and a Roman necropolis. Santiponce is known for housing the ancient Roman city of Itálica, birthplace of emperors, and the monastery of San Isidoro del Campo. Écija, the “city of towers,” impresses with its baroque bell towers and architectural richness. Finally, Sanlúcar la Mayor, in the Aljarafe region, combines agricultural tradition with notable historical heritage and an olive grove environment.
