The educational program aims for young participants to learn the fundamentals of filmmaking and production, including scriptwriting, camera operation, editing, and sound, fostering teamwork and the use of professional equipment.
Over eight months, attendees will become critical viewers and active creators, understanding audiovisual language and developing their analytical skills towards screen content. The course covers pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
“"In it, children experience being both behind and in front of the cameras. Their roles will include learning to be directors, scriptwriters, camera operators, editors, actors, and actresses. Furthermore, they will actively and enjoyably develop their critical capacity towards screens."
Students will produce short films with human values, which will be showcased at a final gala. The most outstanding works will have the opportunity to participate in international children's film festivals.
Participation requires only a notebook and a pen. Places are limited, so early registration through the Taller Telekids website form is recommended. The course is offered at two locations: the Centro Cívico Las Sirenas in central Sevilla and the Estudio de Camas.
Available schedules include Saturdays from 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM and 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM, and Mondays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Centro Cívico Las Sirenas. At the Estudio de Camas, classes will be held on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
