The Grape Harvest Festival in Jerez, kicking off on September 1st, will center its program around art with the unveiling of six exhibitions across various cultural venues in the city.

The cultural agenda begins this Friday with the opening of the exhibition 'Picadores' by photographer Jesús Salido. This show will be on display at the High Gallery of Los Claustros de Santo Domingo until September 26th and focuses on the figure of the picador in bullfighting.
On August 31st, the exhibition for the II International Painting Contest 'Ciudad de Jerez' will open in the Sala de Profundis of Los Claustros de Santo Domingo. The exhibition, showcasing finalist and acquired works, will be open until October 4th. This contest featured 228 submissions from 159 artists and offered a prize fund of 15,000 euros.
Another highlight is the exhibition 'Bebe, Come, Ama Jerez' by the Wine Regulatory Council, which can be viewed at the High Gallery of Los Claustros from September 1st to September 26th. This exhibition celebrates the region's gastronomic and wine culture, including guided tastings, culinary demonstrations, and informative panels. It is part of the activities for Jerez, Spanish Capital of Gastronomy, and is linked to the Council's book of the same name.
The fourth exhibition, titled 'Del color y sus razones' (Of Color and Its Reasons), is by José María Rojas and will be presented at the Sala El Molino del Alcázar from September 2nd to September 27th. Rojas employs mixed media and encaustic techniques, a painting method using beeswax, highlighting its contemporary value and durability.
At the Sala Pescadería Vieja, from September 4th to October 10th, 'Personas, animales y cosas' (People, Animals, and Things) by Juan Vida, a prominent figure in Granada's painting scene, will be on display. Vida's work is recognized for its personal and unique artistic language.
Finally, artist Rafa Moreno will present 'De lo divino a lo humano' (From the Divine to the Human) at the Palacio Riquelme from September 8th to September 25th. This photographic exhibition reflects on the connection between the spiritual and everyday life, divided into three parts to illustrate this journey.
