The inaugural day of the Seville Fair proceeded with smooth coordination among municipal services and involved administrations. A notable highlight was the extension of the Real's lighting hours until 7:00 AM, one hour longer than the previous edition, aiming to enhance safety and the visitor experience.
Public transport experienced a widespread increase, with 133,350 passengers on bus lines connecting to the Fairgrounds, representing an 8.2% rise compared to Lunes de Alumbrado in 2025. Tussam lines, such as 3 Pino Montano-Bellavista and circular routes C1 and C2, were the most utilized, while the Seville Metro also saw a 5% increase in ridership.
Regarding security, the Control Center managed 647 incidents. The Local Police identified 131 individuals and made six arrests, including one for a stabbing on Calle del Infierno. Additionally, 312 breathalyzer tests were conducted, with five positive results. A remarkable event was the rescue of a 48-year-old woman in the Triana neighborhood thanks to the use of defibrillators in police vehicles, underscoring the importance of such equipment and personnel training.
Emergency and healthcare services also had a busy day. The Red Cross attended to 126 medical assists, with only 14 hospital transfers. The 112 received 110 calls, describing the night as calm. Seville Firefighters carried out five minor interventions in and around the Real, and Civil Protection conducted 271 support actions.
In the area of inspection and food control, 29 establishments were supervised, resulting in 11 establishments adjusting to their licenses and the removal of unauthorized items from three others. A total of 393 vehicles were inspected, and 200,000 kilograms of food deemed unfit for consumption were destroyed, thus ensuring food safety at the fairgrounds.
