The start of the week in the province of Seville is marked by an episode of high temperatures. The Aemet maintains an orange-level warning in the countryside, where thermometers could reach 42ºC, while the Sierra Norte remains under a yellow warning with highs around 39ºC or 40ºC.
During this Monday, July 6, the warnings will be in effect between 1:00 PM and 8:59 PM. In municipalities such as Écija, Utrera, or the capital, the highest values are expected. Meanwhile, in the Sierra Norte, towns like Guadalcanal or Constantina will also experience intense heat, with lows not dropping below 20ºC.
The weather forecast indicates that on Tuesday, July 7, the situation will extend to the entire province, including the Sierra Sur. Extreme heat is expected to persist until Wednesday, when a change in atmospheric conditions is anticipated.
From Thursday, July 9, Aemet data points to a gradual normalization of temperatures. Highs in areas such as Seville capital or Morón de la Frontera would not exceed 36ºC, marking the end of this intense heat episode.
