After a Holy Week marked by good weather, the province of Seville is preparing for a significant meteorological shift, with the arrival of widespread rain and a notable drop in temperatures, especially from Wednesday, April 8, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Monday, April 6, will serve as a transition day, with a low probability of light rain in the province of Seville during the late afternoon, mainly affecting the western Andalusian region. Skies will remain clear until midday, gradually clouding over from west to east. The probability of precipitation will be 25% in the Sevillian capital and 35% in northern areas like Guadalcanal, while in municipalities such as Écija, Estepa, Osuna, or Pedrera, rainfall will be scarce. Temperatures will remain stable, with highs of 30ºC in Seville and lows between 10ºC and 14ºC.
Tuesday, April 7, will mark a significant change, with very cloudy skies and light precipitation that will intensify throughout the day. The second half of the day will be the wettest, with a probability exceeding 80% across the province. The rain could be accompanied by thunderstorms in various areas, including Seville capital, Alanís, Morón de la Frontera, and Carmona. Minimum temperatures will rise slightly, exceeding 15ºC in the capital and around 14ºC in Lebrija, while maximum temperatures will begin a progressive descent.
The thermal drop will become notably more pronounced on Wednesday, April 8. Seville will not exceed 21ºC, Lebrija will only reach 20ºC, and Morón de la Frontera or Écija will be around 18ºC or 19ºC. Southwesterly winds are expected, ranging from light to moderate, along with persistent and locally heavy precipitation in the western half of the province, with probabilities of 90% to 100%. This rainy trend will continue throughout the week.
Although instability will slightly subside on Thursday, April 9, especially from midday, the probability of precipitation will decrease to 20% or 30% in areas like the capital or Estepa, favoring clear spells. However, in municipalities such as Coria del Río, the risk will remain somewhat higher, around 40%, so residual showers are not ruled out. For Friday, April 10, forecasts indicate a new increase in instability, with a progressive rise in the probability of rain. This trend will consolidate over the weekend, which will be marked by variable weather. Specifically, Saturday, April 11, is expected to bring greater intensity of rain, which could be persistent and widespread across the province, accompanied by overcast skies and cooler temperatures.
