The working meeting between the PP-A and the Andalusian Medical Union served to confirm the mutual need to continue promoting the Andalusian Public Health System (SAS) and to progressively optimize the working conditions of doctors and physicians.
A dialogue period has been agreed upon for the coming weeks, with June 30th as the deadline, aiming to define a calendar of priorities and actions for the next legislative term, within the scope of competence of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Andalusian Health Service.
The negotiations will address key aspects such as workload, organization of healthcare activity, working hours, work-life balance, professional development, human resource planning, attraction and retention of medical talent, as well as the participation of professionals in system improvement.
Both organizations have agreed on the importance of establishing a continuous professional dialogue space in Andalusia to consistently address issues affecting the medical profession.
Both the PP of Andalusia and the Andalusian Medical Union have expressed their firm commitment to collaborate in strengthening healthcare quality, professional recognition, and the sustainability of public health in the autonomous community.
