The province of Córdoba will face a Tuesday of intense heat, with the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) raising the alert from yellow to orange. Meteorological forecasts indicate that thermometers will range between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius during the central hours of the day in the most affected areas.
The orange alert will be concentrated in municipalities within the Campiña and the Vega del Guadalquivir. Among the towns expected to experience the most intense heat are La Rambla, Fernán Núñez, Montalbán, Montoro, El Carpio, Palma del Río, Almodóvar, Villa del Río, Posadas, Guadalcázar, and the provincial capital.
In other areas of the province, such as Obejo or Torrecampo, the yellow alert level remains in effect. No special high-temperature warnings have been issued for the rest of the province.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, a slight decrease in temperatures is expected, although the Aemet has already issued a yellow alert. The forecast for Thursday indicates a new increase, with the possibility of reaching 42 degrees Celsius.
