The competition, which was part of the third regatta of the Andalusian Cup, brought together nearly 500 athletes in an intense day marked by a high level of competition. The Seville team dominated the general club classification, accumulating a total of 13 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals, reaffirming its position as an autonomous benchmark in this sport.
The second place on the podium went to Real Círculo de Labradores, also from Seville, which secured 6 gold, 11 silver, and 7 bronze medals. Third place was taken by the Almerian club Tiempo Libre El Ejido, with a notable performance that included one gold, two silver, and one bronze.
The competition brought together clubs from Seville, Cádiz, Málaga, and Almería, in addition to the participation of invited teams such as Madrid Velocidad and the British Calpe Rowing Club and Scottish Rowing LTD, which gave the regatta an international character.
The events took place in various categories, from junior to absolute, and in modalities such as double and quadruple scull, coxless four, and coxed eight, showcasing the good health and diversity of rowing in Andalusia. In the Andalusian Cup, Club Náutico Sevilla also excelled with eight victories, followed by Tiempo Libre El Ejido with seven wins and Real Círculo de Labradores with four.
The day also included special categories, such as the BCS modality for women who have overcome breast cancer, where Club de Remo San Jerónimo achieved a notable double win. The championship, organized by the Andalusian Rowing Federation with the support of institutions such as the Junta de Andalucía, the Seville City Council, and the Provincial Council, is consolidating itself as a key event in the autonomous calendar, highlighting the growth of rowing in the community.
