The police investigation led to an intervention in an industrial warehouse in the town, where the three all-terrain vehicles were located. These vehicles, stolen in different Spanish provinces, had modifications such as the removal of rear seats to maximize cargo space for drugs.
These SUVs, known in police jargon as 'cargo vehicles,' are essential for the rapid distribution of narcotics from landing points to so-called 'nurseries' or provisional storage facilities.
The operation, carried out by officers from the Local Police Station of La Línea, is part of the ongoing investigation against criminal organizations involved in drug trafficking. The recovery of these vehicles neutralizes a significant portion of the logistics network used for drug shipments.
The investigation remains open, and further arrests related to the criminal organization are not ruled out.
Police authorities continue their inquiries to fully clarify the facts and dismantle the entire criminal network.
