Montoro is gearing up to celebrate the San Bartolomé Festival from August 22nd to 24th, an event that will fill the Cordoban town with music, children's activities, and the traditional release of La Diablilla.

The Cordoban municipality of Montoro will experience an intense weekend of celebrations for the San Bartolomé Festival 2026, taking place from Saturday, August 22nd, to Monday, August 24th. Plaza de España will be the epicenter of a program combining contemporary musical offerings with traditional elements, designed for enjoyment by all audiences.
Music will be a highlight from the start of the festivities. On Saturday, August 22nd, at 11:30 PM, Plaza de España will host the concert by La Interpop, followed by a set from DJ Pako Triángulo. This concert will mark the kickoff for three days of festivities.
Sunday, August 23rd, will be particularly dedicated to families. Between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM, a Grand Children's Water Festival will feature slides, a ball pit, inflatables, games, face painting, and balloon twisting. At 11:00 AM, there will be a photo opportunity with La Diablilla, an emblematic figure of these festivals, followed by the blessing and presentation of medals for San Bartolomé. The peak moment will arrive at 12:00 PM with the highly anticipated release of La Diablilla. In the evening, the celebration will feature the orchestra Orquesta Channel, Planeta 80, and DJ Raúl Ortega, along with a Glitter Bar for all ages.
Monday, August 24th, will be the busiest day in terms of activities. The day will begin early at 8:00 AM with a parade by the AMC J. Mohedo, accompanied by traditional figures and La Diablilla, touring various streets of the municipality. At 11:00 AM, La Diablilla will visit the Residencia Jesús Nazareno, and a popular breakfast will be offered. After La Diablilla is collected at midday, starting at 12:30 PM, a DJ EDO + ColorFest with a mechanical bull will take place, followed by a Grand Foam Party at 1:30 PM.
The festival will conclude in the afternoon with a more traditional and religious character. At 8:30 PM, the Main Service and Procession of San Bartolomé will be held. These days promise to combine outdoor music, family plans, nighttime parties, and popular traditions, making the last weekend of August a notable event in the Alto Guadalquivir region.
