Málaga's fairgrounds, the Real del Cortijo de Torres, is in the final stages of preparation for its upcoming Fair, which will boast a spectacular illumination of over 2.3 million lights. The organization has worked intensively to have everything ready to welcome the millions of fairgoers expected during the August festivities.
Among this year's new features are the installation of 20 additional public restrooms to reduce queues, located in Jabera and Bailarín Eusebio Valderrama streets. The Youth Esplanade will present an enhanced program, including the Los 40 Principales party and sessions by local DJs. Additionally, a prevention tent and new devices for remote alcohol breathalyzer tests will be implemented.
The Fair's main entrance maintains the 2025 design, a replica of the historic ‘El Quiosco del Embarcadero de la Reina’, dating back to 1862. This year, the entrance will be adorned with 145,000 LED lights and ‘Ecogreenlux’ curtains, a system patented by Ximenez Group, the company also responsible for the rest of the fairgrounds' lighting.
The Real Cortijo de Torres will host 117 stalls, maintaining its family-friendly character. The program will include over 200 performances, with notable spaces such as the Caseta del Flamenco y la Copla and the Caseta de los Verdiales, in addition to concerts at the Municipal Auditorium.
As a technological innovation, the virtual assistant via WhatsApp, ‘Tu FerIA’, developed by InternalIA, returns. This service will offer information on mobility, parking, and various services, complementing the City Council's efforts. Last year, it managed around 25,000 messages and assisted over 2,000 people in seven languages.
