With a career spanning over five decades, the group, originally from Dos Hermanas (Seville), presents a proposal that, according to its creators, preserves the essence that has characterized them. This new track aims to connect with various generations of listeners through its recognizable rhythm and festive sound.
The duo, globally known for hits like Macarena, released in 1993, and the classic Sevilla tiene un color especial, has managed to reinvent themselves without losing their identity. Their lyrics continue to carry the spirit of Andalusia beyond borders, strengthening their connection to popular music and their roots.
“"Carretero, follow the beat of the drummer."
The music video for Carretero, now available on YouTube, was produced by Visualnue, under the direction of Miguel Ángel Puig and with Miguel Ángel Rodríguez as director of photography.
The musical group began its journey in 1962, participating in the program Ronda del Domingo on Radio Sevilla Cadena Ser. In 1965, they made their first appearance on national television. Throughout their extensive career, they have recorded over 40 albums, accumulating more than 100 million copies sold and receiving 250 Gold records and 120 Platinum records.
Currently, the group continues to offer concerts as part of their '60th anniversary' tour, which began with composer and violinist André Rieu, celebrating their long musical career.
