In May, tourist apartments in the capital city of Córdoba registered 12,760 users, compared to 9,806 in the same month last year. Of the total guests, 62.2% were Spanish (7,949) and 37.8% were foreign (4,811).
Overnight stays in these apartments also grew by 22.32%, reaching 26,091 in May, up from 21,330 the previous year. The capital's apartments account for 88.3% of users in the entire province.
According to the INE, in May there were 513 tourist apartments in the capital, offering 1,734 beds and employing 167 people.
Across the entire province of Córdoba, the number of tourists staying in apartments in May was 14,422, a 24.7% increase from the previous year. Of these, 9,426 were domestic and 4,996 were foreign.
Overnight stays in the province totaled 29,141, a 15.6% rise from May last year. The province had 2,366 beds across 680 tourist apartments, with 228 workers.
Despite this growth, hotels in the Córdoba province continue to attract more tourists. In May, the 168 open hotels accommodated 116,105 tourists, the best figure of the year, although 4.4% lower than May 2025.
