The Royal Household announced this Friday that the audience will take place at 11:30 AM. This institutional meeting is part of the series of receptions the monarch is holding with regional presidents elected in the latest electoral cycle.
Juanma Moreno was sworn in for a third term on July 5th, after being invested by the Regional Parliament with the votes from PP de Andalucía and Vox. The elections that led to this government agreement were held on May 17th.
This will be the third time the King has received Juanma Moreno as President of the Junta. Previous audiences were in 2019 and 2022, the year Moreno secured an absolute majority in the Andalusian elections.
A week ago, the King called Juanma Moreno to express concern over the tragic fire in Los Gallardos (Almería) and offer condolences for the deceased. They also held conversations following the accident in Adamuz and the floods in Grazalema.
