Civil Guard Major General, Fernando Mora Moret, will give a conference titled “Holy Land: Anatomy of an Endless Conflict” on June 18th at the Real Círculo de Labradores in Sevilla.

The Real Círculo de Labradores in Sevilla will host a conference of significant relevance for defense culture and historical dissemination on June 18th. The event, organized by the National Association of Spanish Soldiers (ANSOLDES), will bring together members, authorities, and the public interested in strategic affairs and contemporary history.
The speaker will be Civil Guard Major General Fernando Mora Moret, whose extensive professional career has led him to occupy positions of maximum operational demand and responsibility. Born in Cartagena in 1962, his career includes postings in the Rural Anti-Terrorist Group in Gipuzkoa, the Intelligence Service of the Gipuzkoa Command, command of Helicopter Unit 11 in the Canary Islands, and the headship of the Seville Command.
General Mora also served as an instructor at the Aranjuez Officers' Academy and led the Southern Air Sector and the Traffic Sector of Andalusia. After his promotion to colonel, he headed the Seville Command between 2013 and 2019. Subsequently, he achieved the rank of general and held key positions such as deputy chief of the Traffic Group and chief of staff of the Guardia Civil. His last assignment was the headship of the Madrid Zone between 2024 and 2026, concluding over four decades of service.

His presence in Seville offers an exceptional opportunity to hear from one of the most authoritative voices in security, strategy, and intelligence.

The conference, titled “Holy Land: Anatomy of an Endless Conflict,” will offer a deep analysis of one of the world's most complex geopolitical scenarios. The General will address the historical roots of the conflict, its evolution, international implications, and the keys to its persistence, drawing on his experience in intelligence and strategic knowledge.
ANSOLDES, an organization comprising those who completed military service, professional soldiers, and members of the State Security Forces and Corps, is organizing this event to promote constitutional values and defense culture. The association actively defends Spanish symbols, promotes knowledge of the nation's history, and fosters respect for the Constitution and Parliamentary Monarchy.
The event will be introduced by Javier Aguilar Cazorla, representing ANSOLDES. Access to the conference, to be held in the Salón Real of the REAL CÍRCULO DE LABRADORES (Calle Pedro Caravaca, 1 Sevilla) on Thursday, June 18th at 7:30 PM, will be free on a first-come, first-served basis.
