This initiative by Emvisesa comes at a time when the average rental price in Seville reached a historic record in March, exceeding 13.1 euros per square meter. Protected housing is presented as a crucial option for families with limited incomes seeking an affordable alternative.
The 32 housing units are distributed across two developments, Torre Augusta and Torre Rosario. Interested parties can register through the form available on the Emvisesa website until Thursday, April 16, at 2:00 PM, provided they meet the established requirements.
To qualify for these homes, applicants must meet certain economic criteria. For the Torre Augusta development, income must not exceed four times the IPREM (less than 2,400 euros per month), while for Torre Rosario, the limit is 3.5 times the IPREM (less than 2,100 euros per month). Additionally, the rental cost must not exceed 30% of the total household income, in accordance with Andalusia's Housing Law 5/2025.
Rental prices vary by the number of bedrooms: 400 euros for two bedrooms and 490 euros for three. An additional 75 euros for a garage space and 25 euros for a storage room brings the total monthly amount to between 425 and 590 euros. This means that accredited monthly income must range approximately between 1,400 and 1,900 euros.
It is essential that applicants are registered in the Municipal Register of Protected Housing Applicants (RMDVP) at the time of allocation, although it is not required for initial registration. Specific quotas have been established, including two adapted homes for people with reduced mobility, one for victims of gender violence, two for families with dependent minors, 18 for young people under 40, and nine for the general quota.
For the general quota, preference will be given to those registered in Seville for a minimum of two years at the time of application or at least five years at any previous time, and whose workplace is located in the municipality.
Key dates for the process include the publication of the provisional list on April 20, the end of the appeals period on April 23, and the publication of the definitive list on April 29. Public draws before a notary for the allocation of homes will take place on April 30, 2026, divided into three categories: one home for victims of gender violence, two for people with reduced mobility, and 27 for the other quotas.
