This route, ideal for springtime, stretches approximately seven kilometers and can be completed in about three hours. The journey begins at Picobarro, a rocky outcrop emerging into the Atlantic, known for its unique formation that, at low tide, revealed a small natural arch. This point marks the division between the beaches of El Chorrillo and Los Galeones.
Along the way, walkers can observe the current Rota Lighthouse and its predecessor, as well as the Puerta del Mar and the bell gable of the Church of Nuestra Señora de la O. The path continues along the breakwater, from where the popular La Costilla beach, famous for its curved shape, can be seen.
Further on, the route enters wooden walkways that traverse the Pinar de la Almadraba, a natural area shaded by stone pines and white broom. In this section, visitors will find the La Forestal Recreational and Environmental Education Center and the 'Celestino Mutis' Botanical Garden, inviting a stop.
The journey culminates at the Fishing Corrals, classified as a Natural Monument, after passing a viewpoint located on a bunker's rooftop and crossing a hotel terrace, rejoining the wooden walkways until reaching Punta Candor.
