Organized by the Seville Academy of Gastronomy and the Association of Hospitality of Seville and Province, the event has consolidated itself as a key date in the culinary calendar of the Andalusian capital. It will feature the collaboration of Seville City Office and the sponsorship of Cruzcampo.
The Caracolia 2026 program includes three days of activity next to the Guadalquivir River. On Thursday, April 30, the festival will open its doors from 8:00 PM to 11:45 PM. On Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, there will be a double session, from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM and from 8:00 PM to 11:45 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy the offerings at different times.
Twelve hospitality establishments from Seville will participate in this edition, offering not only traditional snails and 'cabrillas' (smaller snails), but also a diversified culinary proposal that includes 'papas aliñás' (dressed potatoes), 'aliños' (dressings), 'montaditos' (small sandwiches), and 'chicharrones' (fried pork rinds). This expansion aims to reinforce the popular and diverse character of the event, showcasing the richness of local gastronomic heritage.
The previous edition, held in 2025, attracted more than 4,000 attendees and registered a consumption of over 1,500 kilograms of snails and 'cabrillas', highlighting the growing interest in traditional Andalusian gastronomy in an urban festival format. The location at Paseo Colón, central and well-connected, facilitates access for residents and tourists, offering an open atmosphere with river views.
