Atlético Central has concluded a challenging season with promotion to the Segunda Federación, the fourth tier of Spanish football. The club, founded in 2018 by Jaime Soto, now 24 years old, has achieved five promotions in eight years, establishing itself as Seville's third team.
Jaime Soto, the club's president, described the days following the promotion as an overwhelming but happy "madness," highlighting the invested work and passion. "Yes, we expected it because from day one we have been working with the dream of reaching professional football," he stated, recalling last year's experience where they narrowly missed out.

The season was described as "very tough" by Soto, marked by economic and structural difficulties. "We have gone through very tough times, both economically and structurally for the club, and we have also felt quite alone at certain moments," he confessed. The mid-season coaching change, with the arrival of Marco, was a key turning point for the final comeback.
The club now faces the challenge of the Segunda RFEF, a demanding league. Soto expressed the need for a home ground and institutional support, pointing out that the Seville City Council must "take a step forward." "Our dream is to play in Seville, of course. We are from Seville and our dream is to play in our city," he declared.
On the sporting front, the main objective for the upcoming season is to remain in the league. "Thinking about a playoff right now would be crazy," admitted Soto, who confirmed the continuity of coach Marco and the intention to maintain the team's core. "We are going to renew almost everyone and keep the block and the group," he assured.
Soto also addressed the club's identity, acknowledging that, despite its youth, they feel "classification-wise" like Seville's third team. "We are growing more and more, and we are becoming bigger, always with our values, our respect, our humility, and our affection," he concluded, dreaming of a future that includes the Champions League and greater social integration.
