Antonio Repullo to Lead PP Candidacy in Córdoba for Upcoming Elections

The current general secretary of the Andalusian PP, with extensive political experience in the province, will head the popular list in the May 17 elections.

The Popular Party has announced that Antonio Repullo, the current general secretary of the PP of Andalucía, will be the candidate leading their list for Córdoba in the upcoming regional elections, scheduled for May 17.

Repullo's designation comes after the call for elections, accelerating the configuration of candidacies for the various political parties. With this decision, Repullo takes over from Jesús Aguirre, who currently presides over the Parliament of Andalucía.
Although born in Cádiz 51 years ago, Antonio Repullo has developed most of his professional and political career in Córdoba. He studied Law in this city and practiced his profession for over a decade. He is married and has two children.

He is passionate about sports; in his youth, he competed in handball and also played football and tennis. He loves doing sports with his family and enjoying all kinds of activities with his children. He plays padel, participating in amateur tournaments, and also enjoys running. Another of his passions, when he has free time, is reading, confessing to be a true book devourer.

Repullo's public career began in 2012 when he was appointed manager of the Economic Development Consortium of the Córdoba Provincial Council. Subsequently, in 2016, he assumed the head of cabinet for the sub-delegate of the Government in Córdoba, and in 2019, he was appointed delegate of the Government in the province.
His knowledge of the province of Córdoba is profound, encompassing both his experience as a citizen and his political management. In September 2022, he was named general secretary of the PP of Andalucía, and the following year he directed the campaigns for the municipal elections on May 28 and the general elections on July 23, events that resulted in historical successes for the party. Furthermore, on July 5, 2025, he was appointed a member of the National Executive Committee of the Popular Party, under the leadership of Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
