The ordinary phase of the selectivity exams in Andalusia will be held on June 2, 3, and 4. The results of these tests will be published on June 11, a date that will also mark the beginning of the period to apply for a place in Andalusian public universities.
Following the publication of grades, applicants will have until June 22 to formalize their enrollment applications and select their academic options of interest. The first allocation of places is scheduled for July 3, followed by a second on July 16. Subsequently, re-allocation lists will begin, extending until October 8.
For those who do not pass the exam in the ordinary call or cannot take it, the extraordinary phase will take place between June 30 and July 2. The grades for this call will be published on July 9, opening a new application period. The first extraordinary place allocation will be on July 24, with a second on September 3, and continuous assignments until October.
The admission process for public higher education institutions is managed through a single application in the Distrito Único Andaluz. Students must order their degrees by preference, as the system automatically assigns a place in the highest option for which their grade is sufficient. Cut-off scores from previous years, available on the Distrito Único Andaluz website, serve as a reference, although they vary annually.
The system also includes specific quotas for various groups, such as university graduates (1%), students with disabilities (5%), high-level athletes (3%, extendable to 8% in certain degrees), individuals over 25, 40, and 45 years old (2% each), and people at risk of social exclusion (an additional 1%). Vacant places from these quotas are integrated into the general quota once the ordinary phase is completed.
