The AV Skyline Intelligent opens its sashes through vertical movement, without occupying interior or exterior opening space. The system uses springs and counterweights and can be operated manually or motorized, with options for home automation integration. Its reduced profile aims to give prominence to the glass and the views, a feature that allows for large openings in homes, hotels, or restaurants where connection with the outdoors is part of the design.
The innovation the company will bring to Madrid is the possibility of manufacturing this model with curves and with lateral bending. This latter technique allows the enclosure to follow the curvature of a facade, working on a different plane than conventional arches. The proposal combines two specialties of Aluminios Vallirana: guillotine opening and profile bending. For architects, it means expanding design options by incorporating this system into curved geometry buildings.
At Veteco, Aluminios Vallirana will also showcase other curved aluminum and PVC windows along with AV Curvados Barcelona, the group's new company dedicated to manufacturing curved PVC windows. The exhibition will allow visitors to discover different shapes and materials for custom enclosures. From the Can Prunera industrial estate in Baix Llobregat, the firm is thus preparing a presentation focused on transferring its bending expertise to new window configurations and architectural projects.
