The onset of darkness in the Serranía de Ronda intensifies the difficulty of the 101 Kilometers of La Legión race. In this edition, the usual drop in temperatures was compounded by wind and some rainfall, factors that increased the challenge for runners on an already demanding course.
Many athletes had to push themselves to the limit, racing against the clock to cross the finish line within the 24-hour maximum time set by the organizers. The combination of distance, terrain, and adverse weather conditions tested the physical and mental endurance of each participant.
